Apple of China-Xiaomo
Just a few days ago, Xiaomi -which is also called the Apple of China- announced its new mid -range smartphone called Redmi Note 4, and it looks like Indian customers are welcoming the product with open hands.
Xiaomi released a press statement that it sold 250,000 units of the smartphone in just 10 minutes on the first day of sale. It is more than three times the compared to Redmi 3S and almost five times more than its predecessor, the Redmi Note 3.
Xiaomi has had a good track record regarding customer satisfaction since the company launched its first phone in India, unlike other Chinese brands, the company has surprisingly managed to built customer trust, and it looks like its efforts have started to pay-off.
In case you forgot, Redmi Note 4 was launched in three variants in India, The first one is 2GB RAM/32GB storage for Rs 10,000. The second one is 3GB RAM/32GB storage for Rs 11,000, and the third version is 4GB RAM/64 GB storage for Rs 13,000.
When announcing the sales numbers, Manu Jain (India Head of Xiaomi) said, “We are really thankful to everyone for making the first sale of Redmi Note 4 a great success. We are extremely ambitious about this product, and it gives me immense joy to start the year with such acceptance and love for Redmi Note 4. This love motivates us to work harder to make more quantities available for our Mi Fans and build a beautiful Redmi Note 4 story in India. We are excited as we take the first step in 2017 and look forward to achieving many more milestones this year.”
